Background
Ayman Jaber of Saudi Arabia is the Director of Internal Audit for Saudi Real Estate Company (Al-Akeria) in Riyadh. Ayman began his career as an External Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008, prior to finishing his degree in Accounting from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2010. At this time, Ayman was able to get his start with internal auditing as well, working closely with some of his clients to help them meet their business objectives. Instantly, Ayman became drawn to this form of auditing, as he enjoys working on business operations audits, rather than working solely with numbers.
Ayman Jaber later moved on to Mobily, where he entered the role of Internal Auditor. In his time with Mobily, Ayman began by working closely with assurances, which he found to be an exciting part of his job. Ayman had the opportunity to restructure and further strengthen the internal audits department of Mobily by fixing their internal systems and implementing new tools that would allow his colleagues to complete their work more efficiently. Ayman also began his foray into coaching within Mobily, working with other auditors to improve their skills. This began the love for coaching that Ayman carries with him to this day.
Current Career and Goals
Currently, Ayman Jaber holds a higher-level auditing position with Saudi Real Estate Company, leading a team of auditors. In this role, Ayman ensures governmental compliance, as well as compliance with industry standards. He evaluates the efficacy of internal controls, making adjustments as needed. As Ayman oversees a team, he is responsible for hiring, training, and ongoing management of all team members. In addition, he serves on the Grievance Committee, which allows him to take employee feedback and implement solutions that will benefit his team and the company at large.
Moving forward in his career, Ayman Jaber hopes to continue coaching externally, one day moving into a full-time consulting career. Ayman has worked with several companies and individuals outside of Saudi Real Estate Company to help improve their auditing tactics and processes. Ayman has a keen eye for processes that need improvement, and he enjoys finding ways to improve upon the current standards. Ayman also hopes to make some of his coaching accessible to people who do not have the money for a 1:1 coaching session. This cause is close to his heart, and he wants to provide opportunities for those who are not as fortunate.
Outside of his career, Ayman Jaber is constantly trying out new hobbies and engaging his brain in new activities. He likes to hike to stay in shape, and he is also a fan of cooking. He utilizes his creative side by learning to play guitar, reading books, drawing portraits, and sewing. Ayman also hopes to create successful dropshipping businesses in his spare time.
